The person would be responsible 5 days a week to oversee the horses and the ranch.
Current horses: 2 mares, 2 geldings, 2 ponies, and 2 foals.
The house will be fully furnished, including kitchen, laundry facilities, LR, 2 bedrooms and small living room. A library of resource books is also available. The neighboring building hosts a small office, 3-bed bunkroom, and woodshop. The 20-acre ranch is in a beautiful rural setting. There is internet cafe, train, bus transportation, and a grocery store available in Lajosmizse (15,000 inhabitants), about 10-15 minutes by car. The ranch is about an hour from downtown Budapest (the capital city of Hungary 2 million inhabitants) and about 20 minutes from Kecskemét, a city of 80,000 inhabitants featuring malls and various conveniences.
A pick up truck, a small tractor and trailer are provided, too.
The position can be tailored to the person. At the minimum, a caretaker somewhat familiar with horses is needed to live on-site, keep an eye on the horses, make sure they can get to hay, feed them grain twice a day, and keep water available for them (breaking ice or checking heaters if need be.) Horses will be kept according to natural horse keeping, rotating pastures using electric fencing, in paddocks with run-in shelters at night. It is possible the position could be connected with English teaching/outreach in some of the nearby communities.
On the other hand, the position can grow with the person available. If he/she has ranch experience and/or is schooled in natural horsemanship, the wrangler can help work with/train the horses and help develop outreach ministries/programs using the horses.
